Class 4
Tuesday, March 17th
In this class participants focused on a detailed discussion of Galatians Chapter 4 and the beginning of Chapter 5, led by Hillary. Participants explored Paul's arguments about freedom in Christ, the importance of faith over legalistic requirements, and the concept of being children of God rather than slaves to the law. The group examined how Paul uses the story of Abraham and his sons to illustrate his points about inheritance and covenant, while also addressing how this passage has been misused to justify slavery. The conversation concluded with an exploration of Paul's teachings on love as the fulfillment of the law, and the challenge of living out Christian freedom in contemporary contexts.
