Course Description:
Winter is often an analogy for death in literature. While we see evidence of death in barren trees and notice the absence of our animal friends as they use the time of winter for hibernation, life is thriving beneath the surface.
Join us for this study using the book “Wintering” by Katherine May. This course will consist of a podcast reflection to accompany a self-directed read of the book, intentional asynchronous engagement on social media with prompts on the Hive’s Facebook page, and a practice each week, outlined in both the podcast and with accompanying resources on the Hive’s website.
We'll explore three themes, including:
-Welcoming Rest and Space
-Light, Dark and the In Between Times and
-Surviving and Thriving
Each week will include a related scripture or prayer.
